In this project, the initial configuration of a router was carried out, from its basic connection to its full customization.
Its operation was verified, the configuration interface was accessed, and key parameters such as the IP address and wireless settings were modified.
During the process, it was confirmed how the system recognizes the device as a WiFi access point after proper configuration.
This type of practice helps to better understand how local networks work and how connectivity devices are managed.
Router correctly connected and ready for initial configuration, establishing the foundation of the local network.
IP address automatically assigned by the router after connection, without making any configuration changes.
IP address change performed from the configuration panel to adapt the network to system requirements.
The operating system detects the router as an available WiFi network, indicating that the wireless configuration is working properly.
Access to the wireless configuration panel where parameters such as network name, security, and transmission channel are adjusted.
